My cupcake
Here's a cupcake pincushion I made. I know it's supposed to be a simple pattern to make but I haven't crocheted since I was a kid. I think this is my fourth or fifth attempt and the only one I was really happy with !

I learned around that age too from my grandmother and just recently picked it up again! It did take several attempts to get this cupcake looking decent, but after a little while the "feel" of crocheting comes back. Go for it!

Your cupcake looks lovely! I think I knew how to crochet back in 2nd grade, but I can't seem to get the hang of it now. Even just the chain stitch! Grr...must learn, as there are so many cute crochet projects!
