I have been in a cleaning mood recently - rare for me - so I haven't been creating. However, "creating" more space in my tiny abode seems to have given me more creative energy. So I guess what all those books say about clutter has some truth to them. I have a burning desire to get crafting now that there is less clutter (notice I said less), but I still have a bit more cleaning to do. I also have a renewed desire to read again! I went to the book store yesterday while waiting for my daughter and almost bought Dan Brown's Digital Fortress. I read Angels and Demons and totally loved it. I hadd a hard time putting it down! I ended up putting it back because I wasn't absolutely sure and felt hesitant about puchasing and bringing "more" into the house after trying to declutter it.
I also "found" a bunch of jewelry that needs fixing and a project that needs finishing as part of the cleanup.
Sorry this post is so boring, but it's part of my journey to more creating so I thought I'd share. I should be satisfied with the decluttering in about a week and have our piano in by then too! Can't wait to hit those ivory keys again!
great job on resisting making that purchase. i'm trying to do the same. although i must say that with beads i have absolutely no will-power. thank goodness they don't take up much space.

OMG, I'm cleaning, too! I have found the more I clean the messier it gets around here. I must be doing something wrong. Have a nice weekend:)
