I love instant gratification which is what I got when I made these "storybook envelopes." They are made of pages from an old children's book full of short stories I got a while ago thrifting. I got the idea from One Small Object. Sarah has generously provided pics as a little tutorial on how to make these. Go check it out if you think this is cool. She is using hers for invoice organization. I'm thinking of adding it as a little something extra for correspondence - slipping a letter into it before putting it in the envelope. Now I just have to write to someone!

Very cute idea. I wonder if I already purged all those thrift books in the decluttering madness, heh. Might have to go to Savers and buy them back! Yikes.
