Val and I had a little time today between a birthday luncheon for my mom and picking up J from school. We stopped in at Bella Beads and I picked up some linen thread to try to crochet some earrings. I'll post about that later when I actually attempt them. Then we had a little time left so we decided to go thrifting! Yay! We went to Savers and this is what I scored:
The pink scarf is from Japan and look at the little bunny! It was $.65. The beautiful circular box was only $2.99! Look at the red and white cording! (ART junk GIRL also has some cool box containers she recently acquired)I also got a cool cotton wrap blouse for 50% off the thrift price, making it $3.98. I didn't post a pic because Val has it so she can draft a pattern and make one for her too! She's so talented!!! Plus she promised to wash AND IRON it for me before returning it. Thank you!!!!
Heh, I went to Savers today, too. Found a checkerboard and some mohair yarn. It's black. I think I'm in a black hole. Nice finds! I think the jeans project will be real cute.
