If you're a knitter and look at my last post and picture, you may notice something that doesn't look right. Yup. I was knitting back and forth with circulars! Ha! Ha! Thank you to Barb for letting me know before I got too far along. I totally cracked up when I read her email. I was so unaware of the obvious! Hello-o-o-o . . . why would you use circulars and knit back and forth? Because you love to seam? I don't think so! Anyway, I am still cracking up. I was cracking up even as I was, yet again, taking all the stitches out. Here's a pic of my beanie on the circulars the correct way. Notice my little Valentines marker?
Here's a pic of it today in daylight
Oh, yup. It looks like it shrunk huh? Well, I noticed last night after I took the picture, that I had dropped a stitch or something so I had to take out several rows. Why several rows? Because as I was trying to just take out what needed to be taken out, I kept dropping more stitches! I am finally figuring out how to pick up the dropped stitch, but sometimes I still can't get it right. I took out almost all of the rows. I think I finally got it right when I had about 4 rows left. Ha! Ha! What a learning experience! Val, see I can't just learn by reading. I make tons of mistakes and that's how I really learn! I'll post a picture when and if I finish this beanie that "even drunk uncle Leopold can do"!
Can't wait to see how it turns out. I don't know anything about knitting but hope to learn someday.
Your stitch markers are so cute.

Yay beanie now round:) Crochet hooks are great for picking up stitches on the knit side of the stitch.
