It was really raining hard on Tuesday morning when I usually go jogging, so I decided to clean and organize my craft supplies. Oy, what a huge project! I worked from 7:30 am until after 10:00pm, taking a break to pick up J from school. I'm still not finished! I moved over 500 paint bottles and wiped each one of them down. I had to take them all out to move the racks. I kept the first rack in alphabetical order, but I don't know what happened to the second rack. OMG! That took forever, and that was only the paints! Anyway, in the process of cleaning and reorganizing, I got inspired! Touching the paints made me want to paint again (for the first time in 8 years!) Seeing my stamps and inks made me want to stamp again! It felt good!
Today, I couldn't jog again because the termite people were treating the units and we had to be available from 8am-4pm or whenever they finished our units. I saw them in the morning and asked if they thought I could leave for about an hour (that's how long it takes me to jog my usual route.) They said I better hang around. So . . . I decided to make some mini tags!
They were really fun to make! Here's some pics:
This is after I cut them out and stamped and colored them. I was trying to match them up with different backgrounds.
Here's a closer look:
I put Stickles glitter glue accents and some actual glue and glitter accents on each tag to make them sparkle.
Here are some of the finished tags:
You can't really see the sparklies in these pictures - Awww.
I used the cute red and white butcher twine for the ties. I saw them here and here and knew I had to have some. I love it! I put a few sets of these mini tags in the etsy. I like to always have tags made for when the girls have gifts to give and they always tell me the night before or the day of! I keep tons of tissue and gift bags and cello bags too!
